Our hill in South East Michigan closed "officially" for the season with more snow than some points during the mid-season. This is bull shit and it appears to be caused by them renting out there entire parking lot to store trucks.

I was just there and the conditions looked great.

Anyone want to hike it tomorrow 3/26?

Thats some bull shit, they still have plenty of snow! If I was at home I'd hike it with ya but I'm at school. Bring a shovel with you just incase the faces are fucked up so you can fix them.

They didn't close because of money, if people showed an interest in skiing it up they would gladly open. But if on a week end day you have less then 200 hundred skiers show up through the course of a day being open from 9am til 11pm. You can't possibly warrant staying open with that kind of showing. Don't blame the resorts blame all of the lame ass fuckers who think the season is over because we found easter eggs already. Five years ago I hiked the back side of Mt Holly for about three hours before somebody discovered me and booted me off with a threat of being arrested for TPing. I wouldn't recommend it but I wouldn't discourage anybody from doing it. I had fun.
