i remember someone saying that when you see people with those on, because the fronts are red, they look like clown shoes.
 
no he's on the right track.

the rastafari movement (cause you guys dont like "ism"s right?) is really a movement in retaliation of what blacks saw as the subjugation of the black race as a whole. Therefore, rastas, by definition, aren't too friendly towards whites because we are of course their oppressors. the movement is one in which the followers are continually struggling to get away from the oppressors, for example, rastas wear their hair long in dreads as a symbol of not accepting the white man's way of life, through hair. also, all rastas believe that ethopia was the pinnacle of civilization as a whole and seek to return there.
 
dont worry i no this. join the rasta cult. selassie and all yae. but ever heard of one love? yea and I have talked with many many fellow rasta's from around the world. and they are all really really chill about white ppl as we are all one. but im going to stop as im killing this guys thread. sorry man ahha
 
yup. from the few rastafarians i've met, they've been very friendly to me and have loved explaining their religion. unification and friendliness towards others is what they always said. so at least the ones i've met haven't hated whitey
 
i don't understand how people could like that sho. it seems like all the black people like those kind of shoes and i think they look like trash but whatever. that's just me.
 
that makes no sense man.. kinda like when someone likes a band and gets pride from being "the only one to like them"
