I was goung through my garage today and found my old GT..so i decided to make it twintipped so i could go backward.. i heated the ends of the skis..bent em. I cant wait to ty it now..too bad its not gunna be winter for a while.

has anyone else done this...and what are some other things i could do to customize my GT !

all of dougs gts are twin tipped.

there is this one kid that can slide a 12 foot pvc rail on the thing to switch off. it is sooo sick.

i wanna do some 1's 3's and 5's on it..is it hard to spin on a gt eben with a big jump?

you can do 180's but much more than that is sketchy. Make sure you remember to twin all 3 skis not just the 2 big ones. I forgot to one time and did a 180 and died.

put a slightly bent piece of pipe between the back rods that hold the skis to do 50/50 grinds with it

lets see... heres some ideas from the boys around here. put snowblades on the bottem instead of the plastic skis, put on big comfy seats, put on bmx handlebars etc. check out my site, should be sweet next winterhttp://www.geocities.com/freestylegting/

That freestyle sledding site is so awesome! A new revolution in snowsports...ok probally not, but it is still awesome!

hahaha, ive had such good times with my friends buiding kickers with gt's. 3's are so hard to do, i did one but the front ski stuck into the snow and i did the huges face plant, it hurt cause i was goin fast, good times, winter come back now please

Aggressive GTing is wicked... there's a bunch of guys in my area who do it, we wanna make a video next year.

One guy has a 30' snowmobile tow-in gap in his yard...

Why can't we all just get along?

haha..thier like 30 bucks. Im gunna spraypaint just the frame metalic blue or gold..so that its black and blue/gold. then im gunna buy some springs and put um around the back ski screw and give it rear shocks. its gunna be ill!

good luck pal...spinning is sooo hard...all you have to throw with is the wieght of your head...

and take your breaks off if your going to switch stuff cause when you land the breaks dig in a break off anyways..

you could always use one of your hands and your hips if u stand on the GT to throw around

so how fast have you guys gone with these things? I was in a ski lodge drinking with my friends a while ago and we decided to go gting and we rode this short but damn steep slope from top to bottom together with my friend... I don't know how fast we were doing but it must have been at leasst a 100 km/h.. seriously. It was fucking crazy.

Anybody know the world record?

I have done 360s on gts.... it is kinda like doing a 3 on a bike... same kinda motion. I also tried a misty flip... lol

you see that guy pull a backflip on one...it was in some ski movie this yead...or a board movie...i forget...., it was sick anyways, he landed it
