if you have enough ram you can run windowsblinds with ease.... i myself prefer a barebones plain looking OS to maximize my gaming awesomeness... which is why i will probably never make the switch from windows XP to vista (no DX10 is kind of a pain, but there are ways around it)

heck maybe ill make the switch to linux, but doing so would reduce my chances of getting laid exponentially
