Pikes peak

does anyone else think it would be a good idea to set up some rails and stuff on pikes peak? im planning on taking 1 or 2 rails up to devels playground or somewhere up there that has snow... it would be cool if a bunch of people all brought like 1 rail/box up there and left it the all summer so everyone on the front range could have a nice little jibyard...
 
I hiked up there last week and I don't remember seeing many places with a shallow enough grade and snow. I will be around the peak for the hill climb this weekend though, so I will look again.
 
ok... well i live in woodland park and go up there every once in a while and i can deal with the tolls... and ive heard of a couple places up there that have good snow still... ill check it out though
 
For sure, I'm in the Springs most of my time. Like I said, I can check it out this weekend and post back!
 
alright... if i go up there this weekend or next week and find a good place ill leave my rail there... i looked more into it and it looks like little italy has good snow still im not sure where it is but i saw a few youtube videos from last month and it looked like a decent place to set up..
 
I live in woodland park too hence the name WPsteez .. the only problem i see with that is actually getting the rail up there because the easiest way to devils playground is through the craigs on the backside of the peak... and i definitely dont want to hike up that with a rail on my back
 
i dunno about pikes. I skied the side you drive about 2/3s the way up at about 12,000 ft and thats the only spot i could think of doing it, however, I skied it June 11th....so dunno if its possible. Just goto 4th of July Bowl or St Mary's Glacier.
