I know someone that got up to 0's and took em out and now he has holes in his ears, they aren't getting any smaller... I think it all depends on the amount of time you have them in for. Cause if you get a regular ear piercing and have it for 3 years and don't let it close up, it'll never close up. And if you don't want it for an extended period fo time, eyebrow rings and grow out sometimes, maybe try that.
