So im considering letting one of my friends pierce my ears and she has done her own before.

Any advice from experience?

And how do i make pain minimal : )

thanks guize

+kk to all

did a girls once, just punched the ear ring through no needle, got dramatic but worked

ice your ear to make it numb

make sure the needle is sterilized

after it's pierced, clean with rubbing alcohol or something

i know a chick who did it. and her nose. but it was off center and looked terrible. i wouldnt recommend it. basically she froze her ear with an ice cube, put a chunk of potato behind her ear (to stop the needle) and just went for it

..... is a bad idea.
i've tried, it gets infected and gross, if you really want them pierced badly just go get them done professionally. especially if it's somewhere other than your lobes. it's more expensive but sometimes they will cut the cost for you if you bring your own jewellery, and it's worth it in the long run not to have bleeding/swollen ears.

Hmm well in my opinion i think you would be just fine... a couple years ago i pierced my friends nose and my own belly button and another friend pierced her cartilage(in her ear) and her belly button...
Everything is fine with all of our piercings to this day but i think it just depends on the person because everyones body reacts differently.
The way we did it was- went to our local ranch store and got cow/horse needles in the sizes(gauge) that we needed for ears, nose and belly button. We did not use ice- no need for that.. however we did sterilize the needles and we did clean the area where we would be piercing.
Good luck!
