i can see ups and downs for both sides. for example. there are certain cakes like re cake (made by my deceased grandma)(RIP) but then again there is also the very famous pumpkin pie and also apple pie with some ice cream....i would have to say right know i would have to lean towards the cake side but only if its home made. it its store bought i dont even want to see it.

it depends wut type of pie, and wut type of cake. apple pie, and pumpkin pie are amazing, and much better than most cakes. but that bakery cake with the conoli cream filling tops nasty pies like rubarb stuff.

pie, warm apple pie is my favorite:). I don't really like cake that much it's almost too sweet, like at first it's good but then all the frosting starts to get to you

 
APPLE Pie beats any french fancy restaurant food, thats where it's at. Pie is the symbol of greatness. Cakes are good NOWHERE in North America(except DQ frozen cakes). All this moist shit with a layer or cream and 2 layers of sugar is fucking gross and is only good for tasteless people. Some cakes are good, but hard to find up here.
