Picture thumbnail unavailable?

I tried to post this in site discussion, but only got a couple replies.

Basically I am wondering why every time I upload a picture they are displayed in my pictures section with "thumbnail unavailable". Why dont the thumbnails show up? Is there something you have to do when uploading them?

Are they large pictures?

Two of them are pretty big and one isnt. Does that happen with really big pictures?

My guess is that the large ones are doing that. Are you remotely hosting the pictures from another site?

Thats why. Just like why videos don't have a thumbnail when they are posted from Youtube or Vimeo.
