Picture Profiles for Color Grading

Curious what picture profiles you guys use when filming- I've switched back and forth between using non, S-log, S-log 2 and some other random settings but haven't really settled on one for filming on the hill. (currently using a Sony a6300)

What do you guys use if you do use one? and have you found any give better dynamic range, especially on bright sunny days?

It all depends on how much work you want to do in post. If you wanna spend hours diving into your color, shoot with s-log with a flat profile.

What I do personally is shoot with a pretty neural profile (not sure what else to call it) its almost ready to go out of camera, it's an easy color grade/correct as I slightly adjust the white balance and black/white levels. If i need to do any heavy grading this isn't the right profile for me, but I rarely do heavy grading.

Though I’m limited to 1600 iso as a minimum, and dont have ND’s for my main lens, so in super bright conditions I just go for no picture profile.

As Eheath said, it all depends how much work you want to put in.

I find im satisfied with slapping on a rec709 conversation and one of the LUTs I have.
