picture and icon size bigger now?

i changed my icon tonight and noticed that your icon can be 8k now as compared to before when it was only 2k. pictures are 50k now and not 30k. when did this happen?

i think i think i like it like thata
 
really? icons can be 8kb?

that makes things alot nicer for animated icons
