anyone have any pics of whistler's park, or ideas of what they are going to be building within the next week or so? i'm heading uo may 6th and was wondering whats going to be going on there.

will it be up and running by the 6th? obviously i'm gonna be skiing a lot of the other terrain whistler has to offer since i dont get anything like that back on the east coast, but i'm pretty excited to ride a park of that callibur as well.

Not totally sure, I'll be up on Tuesday and let you know the progress. I imagine by the 6th they will have a bunch of stuff. Look for a park update in the next week.

its hard to say, hopefully they arent lazy. they have been putting alot of effort in the current setup lately though so my guess is that it will stay that way.

I've got a few photos from today - I might get some posted later. The HL park on Whistler is being built now. The pipe is being cut and the table, left hip with up-down rail on top is still there, plus the two quarter pipes with the box bridging them. I spoke to one of the cat drivers the other night and he said he wasn't sure what was staying.

The regular park starts off with a nice long wide box to drop then the wallride. It then splits to S/M and M/L sides. The M/L side is a big hip to the right which you can hit straight on and go big, then either a high flat-down box or battleship rail. Then either a step up to double barrel street rail or the double kink box set up as an up-down-up (really cool). Then there's a few kickers - the first one is maybe 25ft now, then the second is steeper but a bit shorter and has a side transfer kicker to the same landing now. There are some rollers built to the side too that look like they will have smaller kickers on them. Then there is two street rails, one down and one mellow down-flat down, and on the right there is one other kicker and a step-up to step down that is pretty sketchy - you'll clear the step down landing if you don't speed check hard. The dragon rail is lying at the side and looks like it will go in on the right side, and there are lot of other rails not being used so hopefully more are coming out soon.

i was just in the park today which is wed. 26 or somethin...

They beefed all the jumps up. started to build some rollers for the booters on the right hand side of the park for next week i think.

shits looking good minus the crappy weather.
