Mounted for a 29.5 Technica at recommended with Salomon 916 (drilled including the 5th hole [some people leave it out]). Skied one day at Loon on a decent day. Not much ice, mostly groomed packed powder.

They carve very very well for a 115 waisted ski. Much better than my Made'ns that I had last year. Super fun to just cruise around the mountain and very skiable switch. However, they are very soft, so make sure you stay centered. Just goofing off on the tails, I almost looped out on more than one occasion.

Speaking of soft, these were the easiest buttering skis I have ever been on. You can just rock right up on the tips. The extended tip on them is nice to because you wont catch an edge when spining off the tips. However, they are a bit hooky when going straight. I got into a dh tuck at one point and went to bomb it down a blue. Pre-jumped a roller a tad early. Normally not a huge deal, but upon touching the top of the roller, the left ski hooked up and went right across my right. I fell hard and have a sweet bruise on my left calf from where the edge slammed it.

Felt weird off jumps, but im guessing its because the bindigns are so heavy. Landings felt soft, even when I knew the snow was hard. Didnt do any rails on them and probably wont.

Bottom Line:

A super fun ski on edgable snow, but not something for ice. Could probably mount a little forward of the midsole for more park, but I would keep it where it is for powder.

What a sexy looking ski. Good review to, post back when you get some more time on them to see if anything else is wrong. Wish I could get them, or it was a bit logical to get them, my hill doesn't get that much powder.

Cheers,

I'm just curious, but why'd you get such wide skis when you ski on the East Coast?

Thanks for the review.

shit thats redic, sounds like a fun ski, not sure if I could use it as an everyday east coast ski but regardless, looks sick
