Pico skiers

exactly, if you want to ski park mine as well just ski Killington and shred pico's sweet glades on crowded Killington days...

Right under the lift to the very left (skiers right) of the mountain (Little Pico Triple). I think it's technically not a trail, but with enough snow you can send it.

anybody want to tell me if the trail underneath the main lift is hittable even tho it would never be open, scoped that shit while riding the alpine slide!

pico used to be my stomping grounds back in the day, I use to know every little nook and cranny on that mountain, probably still do actually

that cliff in that video is actually pretty decent size, its a lot bigger and sketchier without much snow, ive never hit it on a powder day though. It on the A-B slope. The best glades ive ever skied in vermont is at Pico, its in the woods to the skiers left of the "poma", the unofficial trail name of that skinny steep chute next to giant killer, I guess there use to be a poma going up that back in the day. The "Poma" is actually pretty fun on a powder day, its get pretty hairy though. Anyways if your on top go the "poma" head skiers left into the woods and it opens up into the perfect glades, widely spaced birch trees with a perfect pitch. Make sure you cut back right though, you dont want to get stuck in the woods.

Also, theres a decent size cliff in the woods in the Out Post chair area.

Theres also a hut on upper pike, and whens theres enough snow, the cats usually build a convenient lip up onto the hut with a little gap between the lip and roof. Then you can jump back onto the trail from the roof with a nice 10 foot drop, the landings not that steep though.

those are a few fun ones to get ya started. lots of fun options all over the mountain, unfortunately it can take some time before any of it is skiable

and if you cut into the woods of the upper pike right above the birch glades there is a pretty big rock that you can huck off and get some good air. i know many more. there is a hole bunch of skiable woods off the summit glades that dont even get touched on powder days.

Whoever attempted a NS callout today and was met with a "yes". That was my brother, I apologize for his lack of NS knowledge. I was there tele skiing.

Really Meh... the snow was soft from the rain at least, but limited options, no rails, and by 2ish there were a bunch of bald spots

haha that was pretty funny i wasn't sure he knew what we were talking about. then i saw you and figured you would have given the correct answer

not that bad the cable fell of the wheel at the base of the lift at around 12 and they shut it down for the rest of the day. they got everyone off in 2 hours and no one was hurt
