picked up some teneighty foils - first impressions + pics.

they're still soft as shit.

i wrote a review on the foil a while back. for those of you who hated salomon should give them a try, it might change your mind about their ski. it's solid....although i can't say anything about their durability since it's a demo pair.

 
I hated the old 1080's but I tested the new foils for a couple of days at the end of last season, and I have to say I was really impressed.

I rode the new PE's the day before and I can honestly say that the foil really impressed me.

Unfortunately there was no pow at the end of the season so I didn't get to try out the new fatness in the deep stuff, nut it performed in all other aspects.

Don't hate on these skis until you've tried them, altho I will be sticking with K2 this year just cos I think there will be too many foils on my hill in Europe.

It's just a shame Salomon haven't tried to improve the Pocket Rockets.....

 
I also have skied the Foils, had a blast on them all mountain and in the park. The Thruster is the 1080 from last year, no flex change, they just made it more reasonable priced. The Foils are selling for $499 shipped. and the Thrusters $399. Fun ski, subtle graphics, all around one of the best freeride/park skis that I skied for next year.
