Pick up this month's outside magazine

there is an article in this months about Tom Wallisch and his success stemming from YouTube. It says that in his superunknown edit, he does skateboard-type manuevers, including a 360, to backwards slide, to reverse 180 off, or some other horrible description of a pretzel. I lolled.

well that and the mcconkey article should be good as well. and outdoor in general is a good read, i just haven't bothered to subscribe.

ver batim:

In 2007, U of Utah undergrad Wallisch, now 23, performed skateboard style tricks on twin-tip skis in downtown salt lake and park city to the music of Notorious BIG. Highlight: Wallisch landed a 360 on a public handrail, then slid down backwards.

sounds like a pretty sick maneuver imo.

What else is in the issue, cause I got one just a week ago or so but I didn't see any article on McConkey. It was the water issue I think
