im looking for something geared more towards carving and big mountain than park and pipe. width between 72 and 82, under 400 dollars. looking for speed and tight turns but still the ability to just thrown down some 3's in the park now and then.

suggest shit.

Just get LINE Prophet 90s. They are a 90mm waist but they will shred groomers and big mountain.

get the new 09 oakley osama pros.

[claim] i saw wallisch demoing a pair up at windells this summer and he was slayin left n right with those [/claim]

yea, for most of my time on skis ive been riding stiff skis like rossignol bandits or shit like that. id rather stick to what i know best so i dont want anything too flexy. just enough to play around in the park.

so far im looking at Rossignol Scratch Scream In's, Salomon 1080 Thrusters, K2 Apache Raiders, Dynastar Trouble Makers, and Rossignol B78s. I know there isnt really one common theme among those i listed, but do you have any other suggestions or are some of those potentially good picks?

one last spec that might help you guys help me, im out on the easy coast and do almost all of my skiing in VT, NY (Catskills, Adirondacks), or Montreal, so its not going to be everyday that i meet up with deep west powder.
