Pick My Next Skis, Please

I'm in need of new skis for the season and I'm a bit lost on what to get. I'm around 6'1 (185cms, I believe) and 155lbs. Yes very skinny. I'm also almost a year removed from ACL surgery, and a little cautious about really pushing my leg. I want a ski that is really soft. Something I can butter easily, and will be very forgiving on my legs.

I ski on the east coast of Canada, so that means I'll be lucky to have any days where my skis need to float. Almost exclusively groomed snow, not a lot of steep terrain, lots of time in the park (symmetrical is a plus). However I'd like something that still has a tiny bit of width, for west coast trips.

So, 181-185cm, very soft for butters, 80+cm width. Hit me with your knowledge NS.

k2 disorderly 179.

invaders would probably be ok, but your tall and disorderlys are much longer. little bit stiffer than invaders too, but still way soft.

i don't think they make skis that wide.
i think a lot of people will recommend the anthems for you, though the biggest they come is 178cm. Moment reno jib or rocker may also suit you. i'd say a lot of park/all mountain skis would suit your needs. sorry im not much help. but at least you go to the top.

I'd prefer to get in the 180's. I was on 175's last season before the surgery. They felt way too small on my feet.

I tore it doing a 7 and coming up short, underrotating. I tumbled, my left ski didn't come off, and somewhere in the flipping and crashing my ski got caught and twisted my leg in a terrible way.

I was flexing the Disorderly's at the shop, and they're exactly what I'm looking for in flex. It's just a size issue, it always is. Finding something both the right length, and right flex. Generally I've found a lot of stiff , springy skis at my length.

wait cause its only 179? k2 measures the running length of their skis, so a 179 is equal to a 181 or 182 of other skis. i've got 179s and they come to the top of my forehead, and i'm 6'3'' if that helps.

You do sound perfect for Moment Reno Rockers.. Buttery, enough width for some pow, symmetrical.I have a pair and they kill it.That said, K2 Disorderlies in a 179 come up about 182/3.. Should be fine with them.

T-hallls or anthems... i ski the t-halls and they are super sick to do nose presses with but still stiff enough that i dont wash out on big jumps

you should do the anthems even if they are a little short, its pretty much exactly what you need except for length
