phrases that piss you off

there are two phrases at the moment that are pissing me off whenever I hear it.

the first one is 'the exeption that proves the rule' an exeption cannot prove a rule by definition its an argument against the rule.

the second one this is a phrase from a trailer for that new Wes Craven movie the phrase says something like 'You thought a curse couldnt hurt you well you were wrong.'

a curse is suposed to hurt you its not like a muffin its a hurtful thing. if curses existed no one would beleive that they cant hurt them.

anyone have sayings or phrases that they hate?

ok i go to a boarding school and there are a lot pf phrases that piss me off cause every one says them with out having a reason to say them

like for one every one says 'WOW' and 'SKETCHEY'

all the time so those phrases piss me off

i'm with neonpink... saying 'i could care less' bugs me, it makes no sense. and also it doesn't matter what the phrase is but i hate it when people spell things wrong on purpose, things like, coodnt.. yu.. it really doesn't take more time to spell you. and coodn't and couldn't are the exact same amount.

^^the phrase is actually 'i couldnt care less' but lots of people say 'i could care less' which really means, you care to begin w/. but 'couldnt care less' is stating that you already dont care at ALL, so that would make it impossible to NOT care even more... wow i think i overanalyzed that phrase...

well, ' i couldn't care less' could mean both: either you didn't care before, so you can't care anyless than you already do, or it could mean that you care so much, that you couldn't care less because you care so much... whoa...

yea, i let my friends watch sometimes when they get bored. ive rented out some bleachers for them to sit in actually, im thinking of making big foam hands with 'no jaime! not in there!' written on them. -dynastarconcept

 
napolean dynamite quotes. i remember when me and 3 other friends went to see that movie in theaters and we were the only people that talked about it and quoted it in our school. nobody knew what we were talking about. now since it came out on DVD, everyone in the school quotes it all the time. really gets annoying. and the rick james and lil jon quotes get annoying, even though i say em sometimes still.
