whats the best way to darken my lines if i draw a picture in pencil and then scan it. when i go to edit it its really hard to see the lines. i remember a friend of mine had a really good way of just darkening the lines really easy

you might be able to do something with the filter: find edges, but i say work with it to get a solid finish

play with the contrast, its pretty easy

ya just screw around with the contrast levels until u like what u see unless you want it absolutley perfectly dark then go pixel by pixel with the paint brush tool i would suggest the contrasting though its alooooooooooooooooooot easier

Use levels and slide the left hand slider to the right to darken it.

or just do a threshold and clean up the noise afterwards.
