you could touch up the lines so they were solid with the paintbrish then jsut like- paintbucket it then more touchup

or you could use the magic wand and select all of the person and skis, then delete it.. takes a bit more time but I think makes it look better

1. Set up a layer mask or just add another layer on top of the pic

2. Set the brush to 100% opacity and the desired size texture etc...

3. Then easily trace over th outline of your pic

4. delete the pic below leaving you with the outline

5. tweak that outline to achieve the desired look

I say fill the skier in with black. Then control click the layer in the layer pallette and it will select the layer. Still selected go into select at the top point to modify and then contract. Contract by about 3-5 pixles or however wide you want your outline to be then delete the middle. It takes longer but it will gice you the exact outline and looks really good.

if your going to paint the thing on your wall then just print out the pic onto a over head and project that bitch up onto your wall.

if your not retarded you should be able to trace the pic. then just paint it.

you could use the pen tool to make ripped paper.

and to make a nice outline of the skier..

1) magic wand the figure u want..and then maybe use the smooth option in one of the option things..

2) stroke it with like a 2-5 pixel black outline.

there you have it..then you can put some nice effects on it if u want.

I took the original image, battle round three opened a new document in photoshop, and pasted BR3 into it.

Then I used the lasso tool and lassoed half of the BR3 layer and gave it a little bit of control-x (cut) to remove it from the canvas.

I pasted it into a new layer and tilted it till it looked like I wanted it too.

Repeated the prossess on the bottom half of BR3

then using the eraser tool, set at like 90% oppacity I just went along and roughed up the edges of each layer, going deeper in some spots and decreasing the opacity in some spots to keep it random looking. That was a really quick one, you can get as detailed as you want and really make it look sick, it just takes more time. I'll post some good ripped paper tommorow to give you an idea of what you can do with some time and effort.

then you ad drop shadow layer effects and throw a picture under it and boom, ripped paper.

this one is for SEWARD, i am already going to use a overhead projector, but i just want to do the outline and then print it out for my wall making it much easier and less time comsuming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mother fucker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
