I know I appreciate it when people do this, so I thought i would be nice and give a little review for those who havent yet seen this movie.

Overall: The vibe of the film is really great and mellow yet happy. Basically, the trailer and the hidden segment they put out a pretty good representation of the film as a whole. The skiing is top notch with some huge BC booters and nice lines. Also, some really good urban. The flow of the film is really tight and its replay value is very high. The Northstar section was by far my favorite and had some sick tricks including (DONT READ THIS NEXT SENTENCE IF YOU DONT WANT THE TRICKS TO BE GIVEN AWAY) dope lipslide 270s onto the urban staircase setup, 270 on pretzel 270 out, 270 on 270 out, etc.

Pros: Mike Hornebeck, Wiley Miller, Joe Schuster, Justin Dorey and the Norhtstar seggy, and Charles Grant does this really cool urban double drop that is super sick and the background of the building just floats my boat for some reason. Good soundrack mix of some hip hop, rock, reggae dancehall/whatever you call Mattafix.

Cons: Some of the BC jumps are really spring jumps and dont have real deep pow landings. Some shots are a little overexposed occasionally. There were two songs by Classified and two songs by Mattafix and a song by Zion I that was in Freedle Coty's movie last year in Shanghai Six. The songs are really dope though, I'm just pointing out cause some people dont like that.

I loved it my favorit segment was Justin D's, I really liked the rest of the movie to. but when you watch it have tbc ready becuase for some reason it made me want to go watch it agian. I actualy prefered TJ's part in photo play to his in Ski Porn. Oh and look for hidden things in the menues I have already found 5.
 
By he way I would gie it an A (out of A+, A, A-, B+, B ect.) for reference i would give Ski Porn a B, worth buying, but not really exceptional. [photo]play Definatly up there with teady bear crisis.
 
is there alot of backcountry stuff.. im really not into the urban and everything, so is there enough powder skiing and big mountain skiing to make me happy?
 
I wish I had this movie... I just bought a pair of skis off of jeff thomas and he said he was going to throw in some flicks, I was soooo hoping this would be one of them, but he sent me safty meeting which I already have. So I need to get this movie some other way...
 
i liked it. thoroughly impressed with erich's & brandon kelly's segments. overall great pick-up
 
haha brandon kelly's intro was the best, "I know I hit my head...I dont know what I was doing...well I was skiing obviously...I better have been doing a fucking trick."
 
just watched it. super good movie! nice combination of big-mountain, backcountry kickers and some urban. One skier, don't remember who, does a sick d-spin off a big cliff!
 
suuuch a sick movie! the soundtrack was so flow and went so well with all the footage. i liked all the backcountry shots that they put in mixed well with urban and park. go buy this movie if u haven't already cuz it's a worthwhile spending of money! 
 
it's a different Zion I song, S6 has The Drill, while photoplay uses What You Hear. if you want to see HUGE Bc booters, and some nice urban and lines mixed in with an epic northstar shoot, then buy this movie, if you want old guys skiing low ange powder go watch warren miller or something. best movie out there this year, watch some up and comers kill it!
 
such a sick movie. Dont forget nwiley miller he a great seg and does a Huge gainer i was stoked on. also charlie ager and billy poole killed, and Dorey once again impressed everyone with his mad style, definatly does the best rails in this movie
 
yeah I noticed that a lot of hits looked like spring hits for some reason.

the only thing I really didn't like about [Photo]Play was the music. You know me, Im all about the pounding pounding techno music, so mellow rap/reggae whatever isn't my style, with an exception of the song from Wiley Miller's part, which fit perfectly, which brings me to my next point.

Wiley Miller fucking kills it and I now believe that he is the most underrated skier. The rest of the skiing was dope and I couldn't ask for sicker switch pow hits. I can honestly say that [Photo]Play was the best movie this year. Ski Porn and Anomoly and all the others were just plain horrible.
 
it doesn't, I was just curious as to why they were hitting them in the spring rather than mid winter.
