Nice tumblr theme, it would be nice if your pictures were in something like lightbox, so it would be easier to browse through them one at a time.

I think your photos are technically good, although I find some more interesting than others (opinion). This one catches my eye the most, the clouds in the foreground make it.

You're flash work is well done! (placement, exposure)
 
I think a couple of the portraits are a little too dark. I get what you were going for, but I don't think it works as well as it could. It also looks like you have some film scans that are really really dirty. Make sure you clean em before you scan. It generally takes away from the photo. I'm not a huge fan of the low-contrast stuff either. There are a couple situations where it works, but it doesn't look right to the eye in most scenes (unless those shots were shot with a low contrast film, in which case you can't do anything about it). Overall your work is nice though! Those are just some small things that might help you take it to the next level.
 
thanks for the advice, I still have a bunch of photos to go through but I'm starting out and working at getting better at it
