Photographer captures own death

Kinda freaky. This Egyptian photographer is filming a militant shooting at civilians before he turns his weapon towards the photographer and that's the end

There's also a rumour going around that the US funded some of the anti-Morsi protests that lead to the current chaos. I'm not saying that Morsi was the best choice, I think there are a lot of problems with a thinly veiled theocracy in Egypt but I still don't think that any one would really appreciate uninvited rabble-rousers.

One thing that I know for certain is to never point a black, suspiciously-shaped object at a man with a gun at range, who is currently shooting civilians. That type of situation begs for better judgement.

But for real, that footage is wild, I guess he must've gotten a direct hit on the camera.

Notice the camera man in the top right corner at 0:00, possibly filming a documentary, accidentally shot camera man and civilians?

fake, yup i said it.

sure maybe he got shot at but I don't think it's all it's made out to be, if you see a gun pointed at you duck for cover. cool video tho

apparently not fake at all. I was listening to some interviews on CBC about this. it's 100% real. Also this wasn't in Egypt but in Syria.

Everyone always has their HD camera to film nothing worthwhile, and yet every significant crash, UFO sighting, and warzone is still filmed with a camcorder from 1991...

actually it was in Egypt. my mistake. and the interview was about the situation leading up to the incident, why it was happening, who was doing the shooting, and only briefly what happened. every major news outlet in the world has something on this, and they all just say it went black when he was shot and he got shot in the head. So you can only speculate right now why it went off. The camera was returned to the newspaper company that was hiring the man, so maybe they edited it. or if his finger was over the button when he got shot in the head his fingers clenching up would be normal. or part of the camera got hit, and just the SD card is fine. dunno yet.

Maybe the person who edited it cut it there to respect the dead. I don't know the rules but I do know posting the death of someone or a dead body is very frowned upon.

I'm going with the fingers clinching because that's kinda what happens when your head gets fucking blown off.

No. The "cannibal" in that video was Abu Sakkar, an FSA Commander who had his entirely family slaughtered by the regime. He also claimed to not have eaten whatever it was that he removed, although the video makes it hard to confirm.

The reason he did it was not because he's fucked up, but because the militia has gone through a phase of raping women and then killing them (and children) with their knives after. Sakkar knew that he had to instill fear in them to that they would never want to be where he is, hence he cut a hole in the guy's chest.

Oh you mean one of the only legitimate news sources left?

Are you not that big on the whole "reporting the truth" thing, or are you just an ignorant fucking moron?

hey just like james bond

Hahahhahaahhaha - funny. Neither, truthfully. I actually quite enjoy al jazeera's reporting and often look to them for a more balanced view of international events... They just show a lot of dead bodies. Ease on the hate, b.

NS mod logic: the word nigga, spic, general racism, animal cruelty, video of somebody getting brutally murdered...all OK

obama joke thread? NOPE, deleted.

It's still pretty fucked up, like the bombings in Syria conducted by Israel which are actually indirect attacks on Iran. Syria and Iran are bound by a mutual defense treaty and are strategic alliances. The US and Israel's senate resolution 65, surely to pass states that congress reaffirms the long-standing bonds of friendship and cooperation between the United States and Israel, supports the full implementation of U.S. and international sanctions on Iran, recognizes the tremendous threat posed to the United States, the West, and Israel by Iran's pursuit of a nuclear weapons capability, yet they haven't even decided to create a nuclear warhead as stated by the CIA. It also urges that if Israel is compelled to take military action in self-defense against Iran's nuclear weapons program the U.S. government should provide Israel with diplomatic, military, and economic support. Thus, the foreign relations committee voting to endorse resolution 65, (April 17, 2013) is the latchkey should Israel attack Iran. By now, people should know Israel has openly indicated its desire to use military force on Iran. Formerly, on January 30th of this year the US government stated that the Syrian government was using chemical weapons against its own people. However, findings via Del Ponte state that it in fact was the Syrian rebels that used chemical weapons. Thus, mysteriously, the Obama Administration backed down from previous claims. I believe this was done to create the ostensible reason for military involvement. To back these claims, documents from a UK base defense contractor revealed that a plan by Qatari was to have the firm provide false evidence that Syria would give the go ahead to use chemical weapons in said country. According to these documents, this plan had full proof from the US government. Hence, NATO possibly facilitated the use of chemical weapons. Iran-backed Hezbollah weapons were said to be the target according to Israel. The real motive however, was to derail Syria’s progress in their fight against foreign militants originally from Lebanon. Hezbollah who sides with president Assad’s regime, says that it was a war against foreign backed terrorists. Iran has sent over 4,000 troops to aid Assad and RUssia s-300, have responded to take Syria's side as well as China. Hence, NATO is backing up these rebels despite carnages and the use of chemical weapons. This is all about how Iran has one of the largest oil reserves; in addition they are not cooperating with the US. The USA's excuse to invade Syria is the excuse to draw Iran into an exposed conflict. The benefits using a figure head is that they are completely disposable. The Egyptian Revolution ties into what is going on in Syria. IMF/world bank loans, US backs this fully and ElBaradei urges consensus to win IMF. Suez Canal is a wanted geological feature (75% of worlds sea-trade.) Understand that the leaders of Egypt are puppets and when a puppet such as Mubarak does not send troops to Iraq during the 2003 invasion and rejects the joining of US Nuclear Umbrella the US will covertly fund opposition groups to take him out of office. Egypt at the time was the second largest power under foreign aid. THe leaders are puppets, Egypt's military should be reinvented in the case that they have the right to pick their leader.

She didn't say anything suggestive at all....she just mentioned that Al Jazeera shows dead bodies and you threw a tantrum. Try not being so obnoxious once in a while, holy shit.

I initially saw 5+ lines of text with no line break and just kept scrolling. Good effort, though.
