Photochromic Goggles

What's up NS, I'm curious if anyone has tried the new Electric Kleveland with photochromic lenses, if so could you drop a quick review. Also interested in the goggles from Dragon that have Photochromic lenses. If they aren't good, I'll probably buy some Oakley's with the prizm lens unless someone has a better suggestion. Thanks!

I’ve used pretty much every version of Prizm/Chromapop/Photocrap lenses and Oakley makes the best ones IMO. Prizm filters out every light except for blue and orange for increased contrast, while the others just filter out the whole spectrum. Prizm is the way to go

For those types of lenses I agree, Oakley has been the best I’ve tried so far. The photochromic I was talking about is the lens tech that adapts to different light conditions so you can use the same lens for sunny days or dumping snow.

I believe Nike tried this and failed miserably hence them being on the market for only a couple years but I can’t speak to them.

There are a bunch of companies that have this tech, it's pretty common among prescription glasses wearer's. I know smith and uvex have photochromatic lenses, apparently electric and Dragon too.

I’ve the prizm rose lens on my flight decks, do you recommend another lens for brighter days or is just not needed?

If you’re talking bright days and actual like sun exposure where the sun isn’t hidden behind a mountain, go Jade or Torch. Rose works for just about everything except super flat light. I daily a HI Pink lens on my Line Miners and the only time I won’t wear those is spring days (sunglasses) or super bright days touring (again dependent on exposure, but if it’s really sunny I have a Black Prizm for my Airbrakes). Rose is gonna be your most versatile lens though, it does fun in sunlight unless the suns right on your face

Yep, I'm hoping someone has some experience with Dragon's or Electric's goggles.
