he definatly deserved the win, sick picture, some of the entries should have being removed though, they didnt follow the theme.
 
Also, whats this weeks theme? it doesnt say on the competition page

mmm yeah, some filtering of the entries maybe?

also maybe have the contest running a week in advance, like at the moment you are either advantaged or disadvantaged depending on when you submit the photo because it will get more votes. if someone submits late and gets a couple of their friends to rate it 10s it could win, whereas a photo that was submitted at the start of the week will have been rated more times.

when you click the link though, so delete the bold part and it works.

Should work for all of them, just delete from the beginning of the first /web to the beginning of the second /web. And make sure when you're done there's only one / before web.

NS fucked up the link, basically...instead of going from www.newschoolers.com/this_thread to www.newschoolers.com/contest_picture, it went to www.newschoolers.com/this_thread/contest_picture, which isn't gonna work.
 
its nice to see so many people submitting entries for this. Just a reminder guys, the object is to go out and TAKE a picture that meets the requirements, not submit an old one you already had. goodluck!
 
Can we set up some ground rule that the winner needs to respond with a new theme within like 3-4days or something so that this competition can keep going at a regular pace and otherwise the winner forfiets there right to pick a subject...
 
it needs to be done a week in advance, so like the winner of week two thinks of two themes, he or she then publishes one on the themes as being the new theme for week three. at the end of week three he or she them publishes the theme for week four. during week four the winner of week threes competition thinks of a theme, which is then posted at the end of week four... and so on
 
How about if a new theme isn't selected by Thursday the theme selection will be deferred to the runner up.
 
That would be a grand plan but people running the site must be forgetting to deal with this contest ... its getting a little ridiculous.
