Photo editing

Ive been taking photos for a while now but I havent been able to bridge beyond uploading onto itunes becuase i suck at computers. I am curious what kind of editing software/free online downloadable programs there are so I can do more editing with my photos. something like this:

search cs3 in the advanced search bar, and then there should be a thread that says "HOW TO GET ANY CS3 PRODUCT..." it well show you how to do it, if not then torrents.

but any way do you want to know how to that effect?

make a duplicit layer in cs3, then with the top layer selected convert to b&w then choose the eraser tool and erase to reveal the colorful layer below.

Thats the long/hard way to do it. Color replace works much better, as long as there isn't a large amount of the same color in another area.

if you suck at computers using cs3/4 won't be easy depending....

go to Photoshop Express and make a free account and you can use photoshop express via web

and under you can pop colors, which is almost what that guy did

i suck at both photoshop and gimp but does anyone know whichones better or are they pretty much the same and you just have to get used to them

if price is no object, definitly photoshop

the entire interface is better, not to mention effects, photomerging, hdr, plus all the other plugins

and i'm not photoshop expert i'm a lightroom/aperture guy so there's a lot more too

lightroom has more editing power but you can't beat aperture for organization and archiving

picassa is like photoshop for people who arent good with computers. u can download it on google for free
