Photo Critique

holy shit i just embedded all 55 of those, lost my internet connection, and it never went through. I tried. Im sorry

Yeah i know. i have more with longer exposures, but it kinda sucks just sitting in the middle o the mountains, and lake and just waiting for hours

it's really tough to get, sometimes you wait forever and bam, it's way too blown out or not exposed enough

you need lots of patience and time, it's bitchy

It's tough to critique because most of your technicality (exposure, etc) is spot on. The thing I'd work on the most is composition. Most of the stuff is either super loose comp, or really closely composed. It's ok to have a subject take up a lot of space, just try and focus on your rule of thirds and place it right on the thirds. Or, with your looser horizon shots, make sure to never place the horizon in the center. Instead, have the sky or foreground take up 2/3 of the shot, with the horizon right on that third.

I'm sure you know about rule of thirds, but just really focus on composition as that's all your really missing in a lot of shots. One thing that really helped with me was taking shots that I didn't think were very well composed, and cropping them in different ways to play around as to how I could have composed them and get a visual example of it. Best of luck, and keep capturing those beautiful sunsets

Thanks man! yeah i know about thirds and stuff but with these recent photos the one after "Little boat" i was just working on a bunch of new things with like filters and stuff.
+K

As some one said earlier the day shots look a little over exsposed and like they dont have enough contrast. idk what iso you used for the pic of the flying bird but you should have been able to freeze the wing better. for the shot of the falls you should try doing this set the aperture to 22 and the iso pretty low. then exspose for a while you have to play around but once you get it, it gives a really cool effect. some of the shots at night look really noisy. but theres not a whole lot you can do about that. and with some of the pics of flowers or trees you can make the colors pop more against each other just have to play around with exsposer.

are the photos actually copyrighted? because if they are not... you may get in some legal trouble. (u get fined for copyright shit)

and i dont like to see someone's name then "photography" of course its photography, most ppl are not stupid

so just ur name (and a (c) if its legit) and not so big, have it so you dont see it unless you are looking for it.

other then that, the other guys covered it up there

Work on day exposure, and post processing. Also fuck the rule of thirds. It's played out. I mean use it, but don't live by it.

and your pics were looking really nice man! I don't have anything to really critique. What lenses were you shooting on?

some were with a 50mm 1.8 and most of the others were with a 28-135mm.
I was mostly looking for a review of the photos below "little boat" i already know about the upper ones but thanks!
