it's that time again boys and girls, sorry for delay but i just got the topic earlier today so we're good to go now

thanks so much for all the submissions last week, it's awesome to see these contests be so active. we had some sick photos last week, and congrats to the 4 runner-ups, ^nate^, meggles, LBJJ, and benk, and extra special congrats to our WINNER, ParkE

special thanks as well to snwbrdmilf for behind the scenes work

the roolz:

-you may post 1 PHOTO ONLY, i know it's hard but try to edit down

-if your photo strays from the topic, explain why

-no hating other people's photos, constructive criticism only

-no voting for your own photo

-we will have a voting thread to determine top 5, then we will vote again to find the winner

-post your own photos, please don't take other people's

-click on embedded photos before judging, NS drains the color from them

-winner chooses the next topic

-you cannot win 2 times in a row

Anything laying around your house that someone can take and make people look at it in a different perspective. For example taking a picture of a cup of tea but turn it ino an artsy view. Ordinary everyday objects that people overlook

We've already done this topic (I think it was BamBams)? And that no_steeze, you used the same photo? Correct me if I'm wrong.
 
Its just that they were both 'taking an object and making it look different'. No worries, its not my choice. Thread is already made. If no one else cares, why should I? haha. ok, done posting.

Not to gripe because I know Ashley brought it up, but I think this'll end up with a lot of similar pictures, both in relation to each other and that other week.

I was hoping for one about autumn. The leaves are changing and damn is it photogenic.

Just my two cents, still stoked to see what NS can put out.
 
There were so many artsy ones to choose from but I decided the simplest, cleanest one would work best. And its skiing related

pretty sure that winners cant compete..

but I still dont agree with the results from last time. And is there anyway we could start posting the winning shot at the beginning of the new contest? Had ParkE not claimed his photo I would of never known which one won.
 
Winners can compete, they just can't win twice in a row. And posting the photo in the next thread is a good idea.
 
I think that its better, and the point of this contest to get people to go out and shoot.. but I can guarentee 75% of the posted shots through out the contest were pulled from a while back.

I say go shoot it this week, but I dont see any rule saying you cant use an old one.
