topic: For the next photo comp round I want to see some close up shots of everyday objects. Macro lenses are nice but not necessary so break out the extension tubes, reversing rings, or go ghetto and make a cardboard extension tube or just hold your lens on backwards. Or just get in as close as your lens can focus, or crop tight on your computer. As long as the end result is a closer viewpoint than it's normally seen that's what we're looking for. Make it as literal or abstract as you see fit. The main goal here is to make very normal everyday object look interesting/artistic/engaging by showing it close-up. Go.
