why didnt you choose me? haha, i guess it wasnt a hard choice considering all the pics of ty you have

alright so i had about 5 to enter into here....check my profile is you liked the one below i have a few more. I may get some heat (or hate) for the religious aspect, but i think it depicts faith pretty well.

love the shot but i feel like the statue needs to pop out more, i think the lights blowing up causes the statue to be lost making the photo look like there's a lot of noise, imo you should try to get the statue more defined
still a super sick shot

Heres a portrait of my dog pooh bear on top and mud on bottom whos not mine , i dont shoot much but i think it turned out ok.

Here is a photo of my parent's puppy Maddie before her first ever boat ride. Being a bulldog her legs are too short for how large her body is so swimming isn't her strong suit and she has to rock a life jacket anytime shes near the water. She's also completely deaf, but an awsome dog none-the-less and this is one of my favorite photos I have ever taken

well i suck, please disregard the photo I just posted and judge this one instead, I clicked the wrong one when I linked it... if a mod could delete that lost post it'd be sweet since I don't have the ability to do that

i like this one more actually, i think its got a better comp. like the dog is physically sticking its head out at you, IMO

i think the second one shows her personality a bit more... she tries to be a bully and act tough a lot and i think that the one with her tounge hanging out is a bit too good natured haha

damn, this is really sick, all of these people coming out of the woodwork sharing their favorite shot, stoked to see so many people into photography

anyway, here's my entry for this week's contest, skier Andrew Hathaway (@hathbanger if you're on twitter)

me too, i like it that the other faces are cut off, it draws more attention to the dog and the facial expression shows more

like i said before, i like the second one better more for the personality it shows rather than the composition... IMO portraits are about telling a story not just snapping a picture

True, How ever to flip your thought on the composition, and what someone else said, because of the lens is close to the dog on the first photo it makes it more distortion, which really makes the dog pop out more. However you dont see the legs that well, which goes with your story. I like the comp in the first one better because the people are darker and I look more at the dog, rather then the people.

can i use this as a face palm? hahahaha nice selection, oh and i found another one im debateing on, yet its from my 35mm film class, so im gonna take a picture of it with my 40D, scanner blows!
