Topic:

michelle has chosen that the topic be food photography

This is what she wrote about it:

Well for myself I could look at food photography all day, everyday. Whether it be studio work, on location in a restaurant, or even in someone's own kitchen, it has the capacity to affect so many senses. The visual sense with the colors and detail, the way you can even sometimes taste or smell the food, or even the mental connection, all is so inspiring and not to mention mouthwatering. Now these don't have to be shots of gourmet food, it could be some Annies Mac and Cheese or chocolate chip cookies. No need to break out the motor oil or shoe polish to get the food looking perfect, take it as it is!

michelle and i have agreed that liquids do count, as long as they're in a drinkable form, so a lake would not count, but a glass of wine would...if that makes any sense...they need to be food related liquids

Wooooo juicy oraannges! It was eaten shortly after this photo was captured. Tasty goodness in my belly.

I wish the light wasn't quite so hot in the top right but overall one of the better shots here IMO
 
Thanks Bro Von Dudestein! And yeah I definitely agree. The hot area is distracting. I'm going to redo it with better lighting at some point for myself.
 
First time I've ever entered one of these as well. I was pretty excited when I heard this weeks contest was on food because I work at a bakery so I figured I could take something pretty decent.I was only able to take three pictures before I got yelled at.

This creativity in this thread is amazing - you guys have taken some incredible photos. When I learn to use a camera a bit better I may even have a crack at it! Well done
 
It is compared to the last, Im game for an extension.. but even then Ill still probably lack motivation..
