Phone problem HELPP!

Ok so i jumped in a pool (with my hpone in my pocket) but right away i took it out and took the batery out. then i let it sit in the sun to dry. once i got home i used a hair dryer and dried it out. it turnes on when i plug it in the charder but then when i take it out it shuts right away? wtf.

What should it doo?

go to the apple store and leave out the pool part. it'll be under warranty

new battery, same thang happend to me or u can go to ur phone store and get a used one for $50
