Phone plan question(telus)

k so heres the deal. im to lazy to go in to the store so i hope someone knows what i can do.

Im on a 3 year contract with telus and the phone i have now i f**king hate. its the lg venus.

So my question is can i change phones without breaking this 3 year contract? I want to stay on the same contract just change my phone. If so what do i have to pay for. i know i would have to pay for the new phone but any fees or anything. but even am i allowed to do this? thankss ns
 
heres how most companies work

You can buy a phone through telus for retail price, without breaking contract, but that will cot you over $300

or, you can break contract, which is a termination fee, then buy a new phone with a new contract

or, you can get a phone on ebay or from a friend or something, and just activate it for free. no charges here, at least on verizon
