so, this upcoming sunday (the 25th) there's a rail jam... and maybe a big air? at Phoenix mountain by Grand Forks. We're working on getting a crew from rossland to show up and mob the place. Anyone been up there this year and know what their set up is looking like? None of us have been there before but I hear they got a decent park... Either way - the skiing sucks ass right now so I think anyone in the kootenay-boundary region should make the trip and make this thing really fun.
but yea, what's their set up? they have any good jumps up yet?

Since I'm livin in Nelson and last time i went was 28th, the jumps were about to be set up and that's all i know. So far I know there's a flat rail/box, maybe a lil jump in the rail line. could have set up a sloped rail maybe at the end of the park, which is where the jump line starts. In the jump line there's like a 10ft, then into a 20-25ft, then about a 50-60ft at the end. heard the last one is pretty good.

The lay out is rail section starts at 10 and then the jumps section starts at 1 so it's split up and not like a full on slopestyle where the 2 are included. check the poster out.

50-60? shit dude... that's sweet. We don't even have jumps up yet at Red. I hope it's got good pop so it's trickable.
 
...buuut 50-60 could be in a decent year. judging jumps in feet can be a lil unaccurate, so to be safe, 40-50ft. I've hear u can get some decent air off it, but i'll check it out tomorrow. I was informed that if you're UNDER 19, u need a parent signed waiver so go to www.skiphoenix.com to find the waiver to print and get signed by the rents. PLEASE let your peeps know who ever is coming

whatever. there will be enough of us over 19 to sign as the guardian of those under 19. well, at least we'll try.
