I thought i would start a phish thread so we could talk about shows and upcoming events that hopefully wont be corrupted. i am just watching SNL and Jimmy Fallon was talking about phish and he said he will see trey next week. well exacty a week away is alpine valley. so how sweet would it be to see him there. anyone go to a show yet?

nope they dont. i believe trey has a masters, gordon graduated with masters in film, fishman's senior study was how to learn to play drum, and i forget what page has. Phish got there name from a pun off of jon fishmans name

 
anyway, i went to a phish concert just last night. the tickets were given to me and a friend, we had two left over. Anyway, they were for a box seat almost dead center, just past the pit area. This was at the Gorge Ampitheater. I am not a phish fan, nor had i ever even heard a phish song. leaving the concert i am still not a phan, lets just leave it at that. I did get a huge kick out of watching all the hippies and people tripping off of whatever they were on... The other cool parts was our button we got to push when we wanted service. oh yeah, and VIP parking. too bad all that didnt come at a concert that i liked...

your musically close minded if you went to a phish show and just liked watching hippis and didn't even appreciate how talented they are musically. And just to let you know, most of them probally aren't tripping out...Jam music does that to you. i know i've never done drugs at any concert i've been to...but if you saw me you'd probally think i was trippin or stoned etc. its the music.

haha, i never said that i couldnt appreciate the music. i just said that i wasnt a fan. and well when an outdoor concert has a cloud of smoke haning over it on a windy day, its kind of hard not to believe that most people are stoned.

ya man...a haze of smoke. People who are into phish and at their concerts aren't a bunch of stoners. And i know i'd never smoke at anyconcert...(well besides huge outdoor ones) just because i have sooo much fun listening to the music..that it makes me feel like im high any ways im having so much fun.

IVE GOT THE GAYEST PARENTS. tomorrow is phish at alpine and they arnt letting me drive down, there forcing me and my friends to drive down with them. how fucking gay is that. i think its gonna be hella funny because there is no way in hell that after they drop us off that they will beable to turn around and get out. hahahah my parents are so stupid

okay...you think thats dumb. My parents were going to drive me and my 21 year old brother up to Limestone maine for IT...cuz they thought we would be too tired to drive...stay somewhere in Limestone...and then pick us up.

LUCKILY my brother and I BARLEY convinced them out of it.

yeah that does suck. dude that would be funny as hell to have your parents drive you to it because the last festival phish had up there there was bumper to bumper traffic that was dead stopped for something like 4-12 hours and no way to turn around and leave

ANYWAY.. i just made a huge discovery. the theme to it is going to be segway scooters or something of that nature heres why

IT was the codename for the segway scooter before they were released to the public

and if you listen or were at 7/17/03 (highly recommend you getting show) in Ja Mar instead of saying a new shinny shorts car they say a new shinny segway.

i know a good group of people that were at IT. driving home, a group of kids were driving, and one of them said he woke up and was going 20 mph.
