Yeah, a little late to be able to experience their live shows, but still, they're one of the best ever (my opinion) and it's always good for people to keep finding out about them.

all you negative nancy's can just shut up, phish will never die. some new fans will never get to experience the amazingness that cannot be placed in words of what seeing phish live is. i bet half of you love the dead, and i'd be willing to be most of you never saw them live as the REAL grateful dead... that doesn't mean you're "too late" good music doesn't take dates losers.

anyway, i'm happy to hear of your discovery, welcome to the phamily.

Phish is sick. I discovered them long whiles ago, and never really got super into them until it was too late. Guess aging showed me good music. I recently bought the new New Years Eve 95' show in New York and it's quite a sick cd. Phish live would have been amazing, and I missed two nights in a row in my city a year or so ago. No good, but as the chick said, welcome to the phamily.

I remember my first Phish experience, my dad said he was going to bring me to a concert when I was 9. Drove to Albany to the pepsi center and bought me a tye dye Phish shirt (still have it), went in, Craziest experience. Since then, I've loved them.

Thats sweet your dad took you and you were 9! Did he blow smoke in your face too? My first show was the New Years show in Florida many years ago. Crazy experience and still one of the better show i've seen.

i wish i remembered my first show. but i was just a little toddler. i have a sweet cassette bootleg of it that my dad made, storytime at nectars... i guess that explains why i've always had a major obsession with all the gamehendge stuff.

Phish is starting to have a comeback after they broke up..more and more people these days refer to their music.
