PHISH APPRECIATION THREAD 2010

to this date phish has been the best show ive seen, and they closed with a cappella free bird, which was awesome, but i was pissed cause they came up near me and i had/have to miss it all, but at least i have seen them once
 
well we had a good thread going on here, then again its ruined. but salvageable. this thread isnt to convert anyone. believe it or not and its been shown that a decent chunk of ns can appreciate this music.

it really looks like everyone at this recent show was having terrible time and has nothing to talk about at the next party they go to. its an incredible waste of time to mix up music like that with real instruments, on a real stage, with real fans.

The end of the y2k MIDNIGHT to SUNRISE set. They also played 2 sets earlier in the evening, and 5 sets the days prior. Imagine seeing that fucking epic sunrise, the course of your life is permenently altered from music. 55 unique songs midnight to sunrise, never missing a beat.

THIS BAND IS UNTOUCHABLE

 
" phish fans generally ARE the worst part about the band. A lot of them really suck." lol. Phish fans are one of the great things about the band. Yes there are plenty that suck, but there are far more cool people. You make it sound as if the majority are horrible.

Dmb fans are soooooo much more fun to hang out with than phans.

Yup, sure. So the nice phish moments I posted of 09/10 ruined it. The people that came here simply to say jambands suck and phish fans should die, added a lot of great insight to this thread. I'm so very sorry I ruined everything.

 
lost my mind at the first night of spac this year with opening and closing tweezerprise. fluffhead and everything else in between was everything i could ask for. wish i could see them again this year but gonna have to wait for fall tour which i hope happens
 
appreciate the videos, but can one thread on this website not have pointless internet fights in it? take it to any other thread on this website.
 
they played "I am the Walrus" last night in Canandaigua New York. It was insane and i had an awesome time. I'll try to find a video

Yeah Telluride coming up.
So far Camden Fri night has been the best show on the summer tour.
I love SPAC second night, phish was playing just for me ;) that Mango-> Wilson was all for me.
My wife - huge Phish head - eats Mango's like no other person we had a bunch in the lot and my dog's named WIlson. So yeah Phish played for us!

I would love to see Phish. I don't think I will ever get to, since they sell out too fast, but if it ever works out, I'm counting on an amazing time!
 
Ha. Good for you to know your TMWSITY. Yep you are right Wilson is a super evil king. Stole the Helping Phriendly Book from the Lizards and then ruled them with it.
My dog is an Australian Cattle Dog - Blue heeler - a little dog like only 40lbs designed to push 800lb steers around in the Australian Out Back. To say the least he is Bossy - especially about breakfast. When we have parties he'll start trying to herd the the guys at the party. He wants them to know that he is second in line at his house.
It is a remarkably fitting name for him. Doesn't matter.....

beautiful music and filming released from telluride, the video cuts in after 30 minutes of straight up funk flows through the boggie on jam, then the guys start running with piper and unfortunately they dont show the segue into mountains, but it was epic.
