yeah it should be the same regardless of which ski is on which foot

i always like to have a certain ski as my left and right though, must just be some superstition or something

k cuz the shop guy put the Left and right stickers so they don't come together and make the graphic. WTF?

I rememeber having old bindings when I was little that had arrows with an R or L on them, so I would carefully lay my skis down and if they were backward I'd flip em around so that R was right and L was left...but thats all I can think of

what about last years foils, the ones with the writing that panned between the skis? besides graphics, were they meant to be like that?

i would say for the most part no, except if you ussually have them a certain way then you switch. for example i had ridden my park skis a certain way for like 2 years straight, and every rail was for the most part natural, with the exception of switch ups. then during opening week i switched them while hiking rails...bad idea. edges completely caught and i got tossed...

its all about the edges. rip those stupid stickers and ride them the way you want the graphic to be seen and then let the edges dull down from all the rail trickery you do. you should be fine.

they do that because they have to test the bindings differently

depending on if its a "right" or a "left" ski, but its only for testing

purposes on most skis.

I'm not talking about the topsheet, just the little removable stickers that tell you which foot each ski should go on.

I just wanna know if they tune the bindings to left and right feet specifically, but I dont think so.

they don't tune them, they just test them to your right and left boot. thats why you have to have both boots when you get bindings mounted or tested.

for park use i like to have one ski on a certin foot usualy....i do this so when i go somewhere with my park skis and its icy i switch the skis around and the edges are sharper, i did this at alta once and it worked pretty good.

yea thats a good idea. i used to just switch around everytime to keep them even though since i only rode park with them.

It bothers me when they aren't on the feet I normally have them on, but that is just because of my odd neatnick tendencies which sometimes pop up.

race skis it matters because somtimes they mount the binding a mm or two to the left or right of the ski. and depending on your technique you edges wear a little differently.

but for park only dont worry bout it
