the phillies were the more suitable team to win. the rays had no postseason experience. im so glad they got owned and im glad longoria and upton both sucked. congrats to the phils

OMG i wish you guys could see the local news right now. Shit is intense, thousands flooding the streets, it looks like that scene in tokyo drift at that one intersection they drift through will all the people in it. Fireworks being set off in the middle of the crowds, fires set, news van's being overturned, the city is going crazy!!!

i have no basis to compare what happened last night to. i was at a bar at 30th and market by the train station, and as soon as they got the last out, everyone just left the bar and ran towards city hall, about a mile and a half down market. the streets were completely filled with people for about 10 blocks in all directions from city hall. cars got flipped, people were dancing on top of moving vehicles, people on the roofs of septa buses, people climbing lightposts and doing pullups on the bars out over the middle of the streets, fireworks getting shot into peoples condos, firebombs on broad street, etc. it was absolutely nuts and i have never seen anything like it in my life.
 
A team isn't less "suitable" to win because they have no post season experience. Ha, this isn't a presidential race. don't be bitter because the rays beat your sox.

Congrats to the Phills though. they simply outplayed the rays
