Did anyone else here this. It said on freezeonline.com and expn.com that he had no ski sponsor. On the podium photo he was not holding any skis.

Yeah, it's also in the Spring issue of SBC SKIER. It's kind of too bad but may end up being good for Philou.

 
i bet they dropped him to pay candide, i dnno if they pay the athletes enough to make a difference tho.

Well itll probably be better explained in the next 411. When does the next issue come out anyway, the last one I got was the mosely issue.

hahahhahaha did anyone read his article in the new freeze? they had this facts thing and it asked for what skis, boots, bindings he used and he just said what sizes he used and the din settings, it was funny shit

Salomon is screwing itself by dropping philou. he was a sweet rider, especially his mictwist 9s in the pipe. . . so HUGE!!!!!!!!

 
I heard this is a total lie and he is staying with Saloman, on the other hand i heard he did drop Saloman cause they didnt give him a pro modle and not pay him enough, so know knows

salomon has been screwing itself the last 3 or 4 years by dropping anyone that has done anything for the sport off there team, candide is rossi now if you all forgot, they have noone on there team hardly now

i heard he's old and washed up and shouldn't be riding out his "creator of newschool skiing" thing anymore. alongside mike douglas, vinnie dorion, boyd easley, and others. they need to realize they aren't that good anymore and should move onto different aspects of the sport to allow others in.

He hasn't had a segment because Salomon dropped him, and big movie companies have the sponsors pay for their athletes to be in the movies. Being a production company requires more than claiming it on NS.

 
Philou hasn't had any recent segments because he retired as a pro skier a while ago. He has a real job with Oakley in marketing or something. Get with the program people. This is old as dirt.

 
Hahahahha. This is really really really old news. First of all, of course he still skis. He's a skier. Second of all, he's now the Oakley Canada team manager as of last fall or something like that.
