what is it and what does it look like and where do u grab and that. ive seen so many dif pics of one so please help out.

you basically just cross your skis and tuck up and grab where u would for a safety. watch movies like propaganda and stuff, The Phils do it a lot. obviously

a mute you reach across your skis. Like if you grab with your right hand you reach over to your left ski and pull it over. A phil grab you grab your right ski with your right hand (or left and left) and cross it.

I think thats what it is anyway. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong.

Phil grab = cross skis and grab under left binding with left hand or under right binding with right hand

safety grab = straight skis, grab under left bindings with left hand or under right binding with right hand

yea is pretty simple , cross it and then mut is you granbb the ski thats under the one thats less crossed and whatnot istsl iek a crossed safety thats the idea

hahaha, the dna game...u use that to tell what grabs are...what aboner. heres a simple as hell explination to a phil, cross left over right, follow so far? good, then use your left hand to grab your ski under your left boot. capiche?

a phil grab is like a tailgrab, except you grab the inside edge of the ski that is on top.

I've never seen so many posts all with different answers, I once knew what it was but have long forgotten it. I know it IS like a mute and if I remember is Usually crossed.

Unless I'm crazy I remember something about right hand behind right leg, grab left ski underneath near the toe and pull across... am I nuts or....?

when the phils were startin out they got into this comp and i think like jp asked belanger what kind of grab he was doin and he didnt no so jps like sweet call it a phil grab

ive seen 2 dif versions. one is u bend ure right knee sideways and tuck ure left in. push ure toepeice so that it angles down. the other is a twaeaked out crossed safety. lil difference
