phil grab?

it is like a loukang, but you kick the free leg under the grabed foot. and you cross your skis at the same time.... if that makes sence... kick kinda like a huntony, but under instead of back, and grab safety. that is how I do them at least... they rule in the pipe.

 
ya thats what i thought i was trying in the pipe at COC but ppl just said i was doing liu kang. they feel so cool when really bone it out.

 
you can do them off tables too....

its a weird mute i thought, like, instead of crossing left over right, u grab right over left, and grab ure right boot....

It's a mute but you grab with a different hand. Left hand grabs left ski. Now how do you do a stiffy?

and oh yea, lui kangs can look very cool off tables. just look at the one in the beginning of 13, he kicks his opposite ski under the grabbed ski. it looks phat.

by what you're all describing it seems that there's a photo of phil belanger doing a phil grab to disaster, but they call it a liu kang. it looks sweet, it's on page 67 of the superpark3 issue

 
dude - at the start of 13 - that is a phil grab - not a lou kang.... that is what we are talking about....

yea, the first jump in 13 is a phil grab.

 
yeah but i don't have 13, but i looked at the pic in powder and it is just a liu kang. if anyone has a photo of a phil grab put it up in the post please.

well then, it looks sweet. i thought a phil grab was grabbing left ski w/ left hand where you would normally grab with you r right hand to do a mute. like belenger does in the beginning of his segment in 13. i thought he did a phil grab to mute.
