Phil Casabon Poster shipping in 1 week!

Okay lemme explain it more thoroughly...

Limited, meaning he can only sell so many copies of this particular photo, and so his profit is limited. Similar to Jiberish, where once their stuff runs out, they don't make more and won't profit anymore. If they were mass-produced, the overhead would be lower, and he could sell each for a lower profit margin and still profit greatly. The logos have to do with not taking up the whole poster and detracting from the overall visual appeal. Like Felix said, many companies will give away posters to promote their company, but usually they will have a massive logo on it. This poster from Felix has no sponsors, so no big logos anywhere. Which also makes it more expensive to print since he has nobody to sponsor these prints and so he has to pay for it himself. Finally, it's pretty big for a poster considering the $10 posters from wal-mart might be like 24 x 18 at the most...

Anyways, if you don't want to buy it, don't. But it really is a sick poster and you don't like it, don't leave negative comments.
 
People complaining that its to much, your looking at it the wrong way. I don't just consider it a mass produced poster you can buy online or at walmart, its an actually photograph that i am planning framing. IMO I think that the price is perfectly reasonable, so if you think its to much no one cares post somewhere else.
 
So umm is the date wrong on the poster? It says January 29th 2009, that suit wasnt made until this year, so i am confused. Prob should fix that before you sell them...
 
Yeah from looking at posters at ikea last week, they were like 15 bucks for the same sized picture of a leaf
anyone can have a leaf in their living room, and who wants that shit anyways? I'll be one of 250 with phil casabon on my living room wall

Are some of you actually complaining about the price and comparing this to a free poster you would get from a ski company? They are completely different. The quality of the shot, lack of branding, and quality of the stock on this is amazing. I don't have anything ski related on my walls, but will certainly purchase this, frame it, and hang it. It is actual art, not advertising.

nope, that's the right date.All ski companies produce samples for their athletes and sales rep the season before the release of the new line...
 
Hmm it's YOUR photo so you obviously know better than I do, but it's September 1st right now... And that jacket is being released this year. So phil should have only got that jacket for this previous season, right? So wouldn't that make it 2010? Sorry if it is indeed 2009, i'm just curious.
 
So I just youtube x games 13 footy, def never wore that suit in any of the footy i saw. I understand that companies get their samples to their athletes a year before its out for the public to buy, but based on that date phil would have gotten his pro model almost an entire extra year in advance. Cause he was wearing that jacket during the 2008-2009 season, it didn't come out for the 2009-2010 season, and is finally coming out now for the 2010-2011 season...
Not calling anyone a liar, I am just confused as to how this is all possible.

Last thing I heard was he was waiting on IF3 and NS stickers to send along with the posters. That was a few days ago though.
 
Really disappointed, it's like two weeks after I ordered the poster and I receive an email telling me that the poster tubing is 4cm too large for the original thought postage method and I need to pay an extra $15 for postage to the UK. Sucks.
 
mine came yesterday! dad gave it to me today but i havent opened it yet cause i cant wake up the rents. stoked to get it framed!
