Phil B. pro vs. CR pro

I know both these skis are hated by a majority of people on this site. But ive broken two pairs of rider owned brand skis. My line 1260s the 5th time i used them and my 4frnt stl's after a half an hour on an urban rail. I used to have 1080s and they held up for two years and i actually could still use them other than they are short as shit...

Im looking for something that is 70 percent pipe 30 percent jumps and 0 percent rails (cause i know dynastars explode whenever they touch metal or is that only the 2004s?) Also im on the east coast so something that can turn on ice which most rider owned brands can't do well...

i would go phil from what i hear they kill in the pipe

If The women don't find you handsome... atleast they will find you handy

I like them both and I was one of the first people 2 c the Belan Pro and see Belan ride on them and they were super sick I dont know if they hold up on rails that well though... C.R. pros look sick, but havent really heard alot I want those or the candides 2.

I have the CR LAB. They are really good on ice. They blow away my madtrix on ice by far. The center mount makes them a bit harder to do fast clean turns, but the skis are really fast edge to edge like all Salomons. I was a bit worried about how they would do in bumps until I saw Ultimate bumps and jumps. Skied them in decent 5' of powder the other day and they were pretty good. Overall the ski is really fast and really fun. I'm just worried about getting mine jacked. If I could mount them againk I woudl probably mount them about 2cm's back from the recommended. I'm about 30% bumps, 30% park, 10% trees, 10% groomers, %pipe. (steeps and powder trees I use PR's)

yeah i think its double '' for inches and single ' for feet but thanks... yeah i had my 4frnts centered and its kinda cool for jumps but its a bitch for rails and pipe atleast for me... and since im on the east coast i don't have to worry about steeps or powder... unless they forget to groom one day after a 3 inch dumping which is considered a major dumping in pennsylvania

why did u take new skis on an urban rail? thats what ur old shitty skis are for.

Because i was gunna use my old 1080s but the bindings weren't set for my new boots and i really wanted to hit the rail... i didn't think they would break so easily

yeah, i was just gonna ask why the fuck you had stls on an urban.

By the way, id be interested to know how they broke.

i looked on google but all i could find was 3D Animation porn-sxmarty6

ECS headwear, hit me up!

Like i didn't jump high enough and i hit the sidewall right infront of the boot... the top sheet and ptex wall chipped up a good bit and the edge cracked... its still pretty rideable it just has a bit of lag when i turn right... which i know it was a very very stupid thing to do to take new skis on an urban rail but oh well ill just sell my older equipment and buy new skis which the people posting are giving me opinions about

oh dude, thats not a broken ski, thats a cracked edge. i thought you ment they broke broke (delamed, cracked core, ect)

i looked on google but all i could find was 3D Animation porn-sxmarty6

ECS headwear, hit me up!

man i have the larose pros, same as belans just 182cm, i do rils THE MOST, edges look brand new, still, they are fine on rails, aparently with the new topsheet, they had to make the edges stronger, (than last years TMs), man they are so sick in pipe too, lots of pop, id say its an amazing ski, camp compare beacause i havent riddin the crs, but the laroses are so sick.

Pure skiing FORUM

i have the belan pros they are awsome in pow, the best in the pipe, fine on rails and vey very stable in the park and they are not to soft and not too stiff they are a real sick ski

if someone took the CR labs on a rail they can die. or i mean whichever have the racebases. that deserves a pwning.

Im now Libertarian.

And sexy as hell.

adeu, mutherfucker

East Coast Style chill da fuck out bro... just because you own a pair of skis that i cracked and can't turn as well on doesn't mean you gotta get bitchy about it... and a load of thanks for all the comments (about the topic) i think im going with the belan pro...

I've ridden both the Dynastar Troublemakers and the CR's and would recommend the CR's for your application.

That being said, I have yet to hear/read any specs on the Dynastar Promodels that are different from the TM, other than the cosmetics. It isn't evident from their sales literature.

If anybody's in the know, can you please confirm or deny?

if i was choosing just for graphics the belangers would win... they kill the 1080's bases... but really i don't give a shit what they look like

oh and which of them has a flex/race ski feel to it... yeah the cr's have the race bases but does dynastar have any attributes that make it fast on ice

400 ,that's a sick deal I payed 580 for mine..but I also got 914 bindings for 180 and last years pro model boots for 250...I shoujld have bargained more for the skis...

yeah i picked up 914s off iannick for 100 bucks and it came with 1080s with the black bases... but they were way past ridable
