Peyton Manning released.

peyton will become the next brett favre. he'll be picked up by some shitty team, sell seats, still put up decent numbers, but never be as good as he once was..

Seriously? I pulled that one out of my ass. I haven't watched ESPN in so long. Hooray! I guessed right!

He should get picked up and be an offensive coordinator. Pretty much his job for the last 10 years anyway.

Not sure what to think of this? Peyton Manning with no arms and one leg is better than Chad Henne

this.

its not a happy this though, he worked his ass off for the colts and he's defiantly one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game

This, for the comparison to Brett Farve because he will be picked up by THE VIKINGS!!!!

Think about it, their QB options are : Christian Ponder or washed up Donavon McNabb who did do a goddam thing last season. They will definetly pick up Manning. And he will lead them to the NFC Championship just like Farve did.

man, you throw away peyton manning for andrew luck? andrew luck is overrated. he's a good qb, but he's not the god everyone thinks he is. all he did at stanford is throw 5 yard dumpouts and slants to fleaner for 4 years.

whatever team picks up peyton automatically becomes a contender in the league...the dude basically called his own plays for 10 years straight after seeing how the defense lined up against him...nobody in the league has a better "football iq" than manning

I don't blame Indy for letting him go, best move imo. Like didn't they need to pay him a 28 M resigning bonus if they wanted to him on? I don't know how any team can justify paying that when you have Andrew Luck if you want it. Better off using that money to fill other positions.

Haha implying the vikings will be in the Super Bowl this year....which is very unlikely after last season haha. 4-12 or something like that lol..prolly not but they might win 10 games this year hopefully.

NO!

hes coming to dc. and ill give you a few reasons

1) our owner is dan snyder

2) in the dan snyder era, we have seen so many probowls come to dc when they are a couple years past their peek (mcnabd, haynesworth, bailey)

3) WE HAVE MONEY TO BLO-OW-OW-OW

Lol'd. Being a Miami fan I dont want another veteran. I have seen to many QBs come through the organization and all suck. Given Peyton is not Chad Pennington by any means and I would take Peyton over Pennington any day, I still want them to get a young gun and build a team.

On another note, dont get RG3 either Miami. Though it is there style to try and sell tickets not win games, RG3 is that guy.

haha @ Ryan Leaf the 2nd. It'll be either that or Elway the 2nd. I think Luck will either be huge or bust, same with RG3. With Luck I don't see him having the emotional issues of Ryan Leaf, but we'll see.

But, if Manning can be the Peyton of old and he goes to Miami, they'd be straight contenders. I'd be scared if I were the Pats or the Jets.

CHIEFS

joe montana round 2 but could be good if it happens we have room for him and wayne, already have a sick receiving core, are getting a big young pass catching tight end back from injury, 3 good specialized running backs, and we can trade one of or both of our quarterbacks and draft picks to move up and get kalil but thats a stretch

I think the neck thing might be worse than people think, and that's why he was released more than Andrew Luck being THAT impressive.

Dude was protected by the best O line in Pac 12 football for just about every year he played. He's no Aaron Rodgers who created a national contender all on his own.

I see him going the way of Matt Leinhart.

Yeah, but he seems pretty damn smart and its not like stanford is a killer football team either. Andrew Luck deffinately isnt bad. You could say the same about RG3. And yes Peyton probably wasnt healthy enough to play. By all means he is the qb you want to have playing for your team regardless.

why does anyone care about skiing?

...sport that you enjoy and therefore become involved with?

when was the last time 99% of football fans actually played a game? compared to when the last time skiers went skiing

individual sports are fun, team sports are fun for some when they are actually on a team and playing them, if you are not then there is no point
