PETITION: give ostness a budget for a full ski movie

everyone's thinking it, sign away. i doubt these things work, but why not. this isn't already happening is it?
 
if NS funded an ostness movie that would be the illest shit ever. hunting yeti style. ostness is in SLC i think and TBC was 50% LCC...

i'd give $50
 
I've been holding back a commentary about Skiing is . for a while now.

As much as I LOVED TBC, Skiing is. Really was not what I was expecting. The trailer made it out to be cool like TBC was but it was more of a skiing documentary. With that said I have nothing against Eric Guay he's a good guy out of Tremblant Quebec repping the Canadian Alpine ski team and it was cool to see him learn to rip some lines in AK. But the movie fell short in my eyes. Maybe he had some creative retrains from the people (Atomic) who budgeted his last movie? I don't know it just really wasn't what I was expecting from him.
 
yea that was horrible....ski racing in a movie??? that one line by davenport was cool. he clearly had restraints, that was for the "mainstreamers". watch 44 days...its TBC 1.5

44days is the freeride movie with Becker, Dirt-Cheap, Jossi and some other boys.

Skiing is ____ is a documentary about the different aspects of skiing and the different view points of Atomic skiers in different disciplines.
 
As much as I hate to say it, I don't see this actually working. I mean, I'm down for donating some cash for the greater good of a ski movie, but I could easily see this project turning so unorganized that it fails from the start. Maybe if a company provided sole sponsorship it'd be easier, but random/universal funding through NS members is pretty tough.. because what happens when we attempt to reach 'x' amount and only make it half way? Theres a pile of money that can't produce a movie and where do you go from there? I'd love to see another movie at the same level as TBC, but also think it'd be fine to leave it at TBC and 44 Days and call it good.
 
44 days was sick and im watching TBC on my comp like 10 minutes ago. he should get some sick riders to film with tagain and build monster bc booters again.
