Petition for video ads

Hey ns,

this is a petition to get rid of ads for videos that are shorter than 15-39 seconds, personally I think its pretty dumb when theres a 15 second video but you have to watch a 30 second ad so lets vote below if you want to get rid of ads on short videos

you wouldn't be able to watch the videos without ads. Do you not understand that advertisers keep this site running?

There actually isn't supposed to be ads before videos 30 seconds and under. Hmmm....

There shouldn't be ads before videos one minute and under, if the ads are long

I didn't get an ad for that.

Also, I'm pretty sure all embedded videos (so vimeo and youtube videos) automatically get an ad regardless of length because the system has no way of knowing how long it is. So in those cases you can blame the uploader for not uploading directly to NS.

YEs, the latter part of this is definitely true.

Actually I got an ad for this too.... the ad definitely wasn't 30 sec but it was there yea. The ad itself isn't bad at all, the only really annoying part is that I get it again after i press the replay button

i just think its silly to have to watch an ad thats as long or longer than the actual content
 
i dont mind ads unless they are lengthier than the video, and there has only been the same windell's ad every single video its been annoying
