Hey, no kidding here, I seriously have some headway on this, maybe not in circles with EA, but the petition as is will be brought down to FREEZE by myself next week. If we can, between now and then spike it up with some more names it would be cool, right now we're hovering around 500 individuals names, including those who chose just to use their NS screen names. Believe it or not people have taken notice, so we're doing something right...

Hey, so I dropped by FREEZE today and had a talk with the folks over there... As far as the near future, a console game is probably not in the cards. From the sound of it after the failures Activision had with games like Matt Hoffman's BMX, and Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer, they've given up on expanding their action sports game line, and are focusing on what they can make a profit on. Acclaim has totally dropped out after their flop with BMX XXX, with a record like this it seems most companies are afraid to take the risk. The good news is, it's not out of the question and time is on our side. If we can continue to bolster our petition and vocalize our desire to own a skiing game on the same caliber as Amped 2 and T.H.U.G. we will be able to get the attention of the game developers out there big and small. Believe me you'd be surprised to learn who sees what we do on this site, I know I was when I did, people are taking notice but we must continue to work on this at every level we can. Everyone that has signed this petition has done alot, but there will be a few of us that will have to go above and beyond, keep that in mind. Keep the names coming.

btw why doesn't anyone write 3DO and see if they can use the work they have done and just improve on it, sit down with some of the programmers or programmers on here that know how to write code and make it the way we want it, hell i'd learn how to code whatever they use and give a hand in revitalizing a ski game

Jeeze, I showed all of the threads on here to the EA Producers that make SSX myself about a year ago. Yes, before this particular thread started, though I KNOW they check up on it. I was at the studio doing some consulting for them, along these lines. THEY KNOW ABOUT ALL OF THIS. It takes more than 500 names to make a game. Get some perspective.
