I often find that when you owe someone money or someone owes you money, its not because they dont have the money, its just that they dont have the physical cash to give to you (unless they are scumbags and dont actually have enough money to pay you back). Through snapcash, they can just link their debit card and easily pay you the 5 or ten or how ever many dollars they owe you and it gets transfered straight from your checking account to theirs and vice versa

Super fast and easy transfers between checking accounts. As for someone getting ahold of your phone and sending a bunch of money- they would also need your security code from your debit card. At least that is how Cash is, not sure how it works within Snapchat. Bottom line though, I'm going to keep using Cash as I feel it is probably slightly safer than Snapchat's platform.

2) Who gives a shit if something gets hacked as long as it's FDIC insured. They're required by law to foot the loss and refund you while they figure their shit out. Hence my argument that Snapshit or Venmo or Paypal are no more "safe" than each other. It mostly comes down to how the respective companies handle disputes (Paypal is dead last), along with convenience preferences. I prefer Amazon Payments and Venmo all the way.
